Long-Lasting Results
At Jackson Family Dentistry, Dr. Major specializes in cosmetic dentistry. Our teeth whitening treatments are custom-tailored to deliver the best results based on your level of staining, the desired shade of your teeth, and your oral health.
Teeth whitening is one of the most affordable cosmetic dentistry treatments. If you’d like to improve your smile but aren’t sure where to start, it’s a great option.
Teeth whitening is completely non-invasive. You do not have to be numbed, and it does not cause any pain or discomfort.
Your treatment will last for years to come with proper care and regular touch-up treatments from Dr. Pako Major, ensuring you can feel confident about your smile.
Our in-office whitening treatments can whiten your teeth by up to 5-10 shades in just a single appointment. Dr. Major will clean your teeth, and then apply a powerful whitening agent that will be accelerated with a UV light, boosting its stain-removing power. This process may be repeated several times to achieve your desired results.
Whether you’re getting ready for a special occasion like a wedding or photo shoot, or you just want to restore your smile quickly, in-office whitening is a great way to get results fast.
Take-home whitening is a good option if you would like to whiten your teeth more gradually in the comfort of your own home. Dental impressions will be taken of your teeth and used to create a set of custom whitening trays. Then, Dr. Major will give you professional grade whitening compound. Over the course of 2-3 weeks, you’ll apply this compound to your trays and wear them based on our instructions. Once your treatment is complete, your smile will look brilliant and beautiful.
No. Minor tooth sensitivity is common for a few days after the procedure, but the teeth whitening process itself causes absolutely no pain or discomfort.
Most over-the-counter (OTC) treatment kits either have a very low level of peroxide (whitener), which makes them relatively ineffective, or a very high level of peroxide, which makes them dangerous to use. Highly-concentrated peroxide can damage your teeth and gums with improper use. We do not recommend using OTC treatment kits to whiten your teeth.
With proper care, your teeth will remain white and stain-free for years. Make sure you brush and floss regularly to keep stains from forming and see the team at Jackson Family Dentistry for six-month checkups. Occasional whitening touch-ups can also help keep your smile looking great.
